Delivering environmental and social impact for Business

AgCoTech can help an organisation to measure their business emissions footprint.

By then choosing to purchase an AgCoTech  SDG/carbon credit, a responsible organisation can make a real difference to smallholder farmer lives, while offsetting their emissions.

Everything starts by understanding an organisation's carbon footprint. AgCoTech can perform a simple emissions audit of your enterprise.

A responsible organisation is then able to participate in a program of charitable giving alongside reducing their own carbon footprint. By purchasing AgCoTech SDG/carbon credits, small holder farmer families are able to receive innovative technology at no charge, that otherwise would be unaffordable.

In conjunction with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT) and University of Sydney, the introduction of Australian medicated block technology has seen significant increases in beef and buffalo production in Laos and Indonesia, leading to substantial gains in small holder farmer family wealth.

The free distribution of Medicated Blocks allows us to support key UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Farmers receiving Blocks and AgCoTech sustainable development goals

Collectively, this makes an AgCoTech carbon credit a product with both environmental (E) and social (S) development benefits.

SDG/carbon offsets

AgCoTech creates Verified SDG/carbon credits offsets using combinations of emission intensity and/or direct abatement models.

"Rural Aid is proud to offer our primary producers a range of tools to help them get out of a tight spot. Lick blocks are now a part of a Rural Aid toolkit that also contains financial assistance, hay deliveries, counselling sessions, water tanks and water deliveries. In addition to the traditional benefits associated with supplement feeding, these AgCoTech lick blocks have the added advantage of reducing methane emissions from grazing livestock."

- John Warlters, CEO, Rural Aid

"We have a received some blocks from the project and now our cattle look healthier and grow faster. Before the emission control blocks it was difficult to bring the cattle home at night, today they return home more easily because they know the emission control blocks are waiting for them."
